ATTACHED BELOW IS OUR TEAM'S PROPOSAL
On the 15th of June, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with a really big team to refurbish a library in a indigenous village in Serendah, Rawang. I was tasked to clean the exterior drainage , exterior walls , repainting of the exterior walls , as well as slight landscaping.
I have had many volunteering experiences but never at such a large scale before, so I knew that this was my opportunity to do some community service to help others. I have found through the experience that I really like to volunteer, so in the near future I will probably volunteer more on my own , rather than doing it just for a class project . Doing service projects is a great way to get involved with the community. There are always people and businesses looking for help, and it is usually easy to find a way to help. When I had to do volunteer services, I was excited because I had never really volunteered for a long period of time. It was very interesting, as i really got to know and understand the indigenous people's living conditions and being able to help them in a way of refurbishing their library for the younger generation was a great feeling. Because it actually made me feel like a better person for helping someone in the community. It was such an amazing experience and i definitely recommend everyone to at least try out volunteering anywhere and everywhere you can.
